About the organisation
Fibras Naturales Canarias transforms waste from banana cultivation into materials and resources for other sectors. It collects banana pseudostems from farms and processes them using its own machinery to obtain natural fibre, cellulose pulp and water. These products have applications in textiles, construction, the automotive industry, plastics, agriculture and aquaculture, within a circular resource-use model.
